No. All dogs receive plenty of time in the play yards at no extra cost.
Dogs that play well together will enjoy spending time with their buddies in group play.
To create a fun, social environment for your dog, we have a few rules.

We recommend all dogs over 6 months be spayed or neutered.
All dogs must be in good health and free from communicable disease within the last 30 days.
All dogs must be non-aggressive towards dogs and people and not food or toy protective.
For the safety of all guests, dogs that appear to be aggressive, will exercise individually.

Depending on your pet’s previous experiences and temperament, they can go through an adjustment period anywhere from a few hours to one or two days. Younger pets adjust rapidly and enjoy the social interaction. Because we are a smaller, personal facility, we have found that pets tend to relax more quickly, although there are exceptions.

If you are anxious when you drop off your dog, your dog may feel that and become anxious as well. Although it may be hard for you, the best thing for your dog is to come in confidently, say a quick goodbye, and let us take him/her out to the play yard.
Because car rides and new places may cause anxiety, cats may hide in their condos for a while until they are comfortable enough to explore. This is normal and we are very patient. Within a few hours, most cats are ready to check out their surroundings.

Please don’t hesitate to call us at any time to check on your pet. Leave us a message and we will return your call as soon as we can.

Dogs that show aggression will not be allowed in group play. Instead, they will exercise in a play yard by themselves.

Dogs with extreme aggression will not be allowed to board at K9 Country Club.

We will not accept females in season. Females in season can create stress and/or aggression among other dogs. If your dog is not spayed (female), you will be asked to provide the last date of season. If your dog comes into season while she is here, you will be required to remove her immediately.

All cats have their own condo for sleeping, eating, and relaxing. Cats are let out for individual playtimes, but are never placed with other cats.

Cats from the same family may play together.

We provide all pets with plenty of bedding. However, you are welcome to bring whatever you would like to help your pet’s visit be more comfortable for him or her.

Keep in mind, some pets may destroy their belongings out of excitement or nervousness. We can not guarantee that all belongings will be returned in the same condition.

Yes. We will administer prescribed medications as needed throughout the day.

Be sure to bring enough medications to last throughout your pet’s stay with complete instructions.

If you are boarding for the first time, please allow for 20-30 minutes for the check-in process. Remember, you may not be the only person checking in when you arrive. It is always best to arrive early in the day so that your pet has plenty of time to adjust and you avoid the last minute rush. Registering online will expedite the process.
Advance reservations are especially recommended around holidays. Major holidays such as 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, usually book up 4 – 6 months in advance. Other holidays such as Easter, Memorial Day and Labor Day, book up 4 – 6 weeks in advance. Summer begins to book up by early May.
We are a smaller facility and book up quickly. We appreciate your consideration for last minute cancellations, as it may be hard to fill the space. We have created to following policy:

*Major Holiday Reservations: (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc): A $100 deposit may be collected. For cancellations made with more than 2 weeks notice, the deposit will be credited to your K9 Country Club account for use at a future boarding date. For cancellations made with less than 2 weeks notice, the deposit is forfeited.

We provide premium dog food and cat food. The majority of our guests adapt quickly and enjoy their meals. However, if your pet is on a prescription diet, or you would like to bring their own food, you are certainly welcome to do so.
Please only bring enough for you pets stay, as storage space is limited. Also, please label the container or bag clearly with your pet’s name.

As with most kennels, all new dogs are required to be evaluated before confirming a reservation. However, we do this a little different than other kennels.

For our evaluation, we have the dogs come in during our morning hours, play all day, then go home during the afternoon hours.

This gives us more time to see how the dog acclimates to a kennel situation. It also gives the dogs a chance to settle in, get to know the staff, and make new friends. We have had great success with our evaluations.

Please call to schedule an evaluation. The evaluation fee is $30 per dog.
